Laurent Pinabel has designed and produced numerous visuals for the French and Quebec cultural community. After studying Fine Arts and Applied Arts in Paris, he began working in 1994 as a graphic designer and then Art Director for various agencies in the cultural and music spheres. Based in Montreal since 2001, he has become freelance and continues his exploration of images and illustration, always favoring an artistic and human approach, marked by the impact of black and white. His media multiply and vary (books, murals, packaging, editorial, theater, TV, animation, skateboards...). He is also an author, published by Les 400 Coups. His work regularly wins national and international awards. His working philosophy: "The best thing you can do for your client is not to give him exactly what he wants".

Laurent Pinabel a conçu et réalisé de nombreux visuels pour les milieux culturels français et québécois. Après des études aux Beaux-Arts (Caen) et d'Arts Appliqués (Paris), il travaille dès 1994 comme graphiste puis directeur artistique pour différentes agences dans le domaine de la culture et de la musique. Installé à Montréal depuis 2001, il est devenu indépendant et poursuit son exploration de l'image et de l'illustration, en privilégiant toujours une approche artistique et humaine, marquée par l'impact du noir et blanc. Ses supports se multiplient et sont variés : livres, murales, packaging, éditorial, théâtre, télévision, animation, skateboards...). Il est également auteur, publié aux éditions Les 400 Coups. Son travail est régulièrement récompensé au niveau national et international. Sa philosophie de travail : «Le meilleure service à rendre à un client est de ne pas lui donner exactement ce qu'il veut».
